Summary:Main Street, Schull, is the centre of life and activity for the area. Buildings, many from the nineteenth century, are two and three storeys with well-equipped and attractively decorated shop-fronts, slate roofs, multi-chimneys, some dormer windows and internal courtyards, which provide a full range of businesses. The pharmacy, computer and photographic services are the most recent additions to delicatessen, antiques, books, crafts, garden/hardware, commercial services, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets, etc. From the west end with bank opposite library, the street slopes ddown to the east with hotel opposite car park and playground overlooking the pier and harbour.
