| Summary: | The Civic Centre, Craigavan, opened on 8th May 1981. This photograph of the administration headquarters of the Borough Council of Craigavan is unusual in that the car park was full on a Saturday. The reason is that a wedding, perhaps several weddings, are taking place. The Centre is a popular place for wedding receptions. The Registrar's Office is located in the building and there is a fine restaurant overlooking Craigavan Lake. In addition to the Civic Suite and offices there is a hall which seats 640 people and is available for hire for a variety of cultural and social activities. |
