Summary:According to Mrs Ludlow, the house, now shop and post office, is at least two hundred years old. The entrance was originally around the corner, facing the present Wicklow Arms. Forty years ago it was opened as a post office by Mrs Ludlow. The Ludlows have been in the area for about three hundred years. They were stonemasons and so were involved in the building of Christchurch in Delgany, opened in 1790.
