Summary:Keady Fire Station - built and opened in May 1987 on the site of the former school, at the junction of Armagh and Tassagh roads. The station replaced a previous small station located in Manor Street. With one fire engine and ancillary equipment the station is manned on a part-time basis by twelve firemen. Keady firecrew cover approximately the parishes of Keady and Derrynoose but for more serious property fires they receive backup support from either Armagh or Newtownhamilton fire station or both, reciprocating accordingly. 'Basic training' is todays duty call out.
