Summary: | Christmas card featuring an illustration of a banner on which is depicted a harp, surrounded by a profusion of shamrocks. Above this is depicted a sunburst [An Gal Gréine, which featured on banners and flags of those associated with the Fenian movement, the IRB and the Irish Volunteers]. Printed on card in Cló Gaelach is "Nodlaig geal duit" ["Have a bright (i.e. pleasant) Christmas"]. Verses printed in green coloured ink in Cló Gaelach and English inside card. Printed on verso of card is a gold harp with the words "Éire go brat" on a ribbon around the harp. Underneath this is printed: "Published by Fergus O'Connor, Dublin". |
