The Very Revd. T. Mathew Presidt.[President]". Within a circle at right of card, under the words 'In Hoc Signo Vinces' [roughly translated into English is "In this sign thou shalt conquer"] is depicted a crucifix with rays of light emanating from it, the Agnus Dei [Lamb of God] with a vexillum, the Christogram IHS [a monogram symbolising Jesus Christ] and a man and a woman, seen in profile, standing either side, both holding banners with two small children nearby and a single shamrock depicted between the two children. The difference between Intemperance [a drunken man is depicted beating his wife in a spartan room while their small child observes the scene; thorns and a skull frame the scene while above this a snake is depcited curled around a candle and a candle stick holder that is placed on a table while a moth flutters towards the flame of a candle placed in a candle stick holder opposite] and Temperance [a family, father and son, depicted reading a book while a mother is seated, playing with her young daughter in a well-appointed room; they are comfortable and well dressed, surrounded by cornucopias, that overflow with flowers and fruit; above this image is depicted a hive with a profusion of bees].
