Text printed on verso of sheet refers to the 'Irish Sweepstakes' Radio Programme from Radio Éireann (530m) (with racing commentary) 10.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. nightly' and the fact that the 'Total amount won by Subscribers under the 'D.A.' Troubleproof procedure since its establishment in 1948 exceeds £1,000,000'. 'The Grand National Sweepstake, 1953. This Sweepstake is being held under the Public Hospitals Acts (1933 to 1940) for the benefit of hospitals and kindred institutions in Ireland". |
