Summary:Theatre programme with issued to accompany performances of 'The Plot is Ready' by Austin Clarke "after original Peacock production by Ria Mooney" and 'The Viscount of Blarney' also by Clarke, both produced by Evelyn MacNeice. With performances of poetry and dance, including the ballad/folk poem 'Tomaus O Cahan and the Ghost - after the Irish, Dr. Douglas Hyde'. "The cover design for this programme to illustrate Dr. Hyde's poem is by Sean Keating, R.H.A." - it features a man (Tomaus O'Cahan) digging a grave, a corpse on his back while around him within the graveyard, several skeletons are seated, observing him. With list of patrons of the Lyric Theatre on verso, which includes Seán Ó Faoláin [listed as "The Editor of "The Bell"], Jack B. Yeats, Tomás O Deirg and Frank Hugh O'Donnell amongst others.
