Kildare, and letters to Howard from D.M.A. Hamilton, written from Pau, France, describing the local customs and horse markets, from Wilfrid Roxby, of London, concerning his plans on finding a suitable profession, from [Mary] Arnold of Oxford, and his uncle William, Earl of Wicklow. Also included are Charles Howard's written directions to his servants, instructing them to take orders from his mother Mrs. Sarah Howard and his aunt Mrs. Frederick Hamilton during his absence from his residence at Shelton, Co. Wicklow (1870) and a list of household items brought from ironmonger Robert Gatchell of Dublin (1873). |
