On right [on a scroll]: "They rose in dark and evil days to right their native land, They kindled here a living blaze that nothing shall withstand", behind which is featured cannon and cannon balls, guns and pikes. Item is printed using green ink by Dollard Printing House, Dublin. Verso has the organisations' constitution and rules. Recto has NLI stamp with date of '9 March 1935' and in pencil 'J.P. Dunne Collection'. |
