Summary:Cartoon of Douglas Hyde, seated by the sick bed of young man symbolising the Gaelic League. Caption reads 'Craobin: My Darling child is dwindling away. He is not thriving on my remedies. To save his life I must apply some of this Sinn Fein stuff ''Common Sense'' immediately, delay may be fatal. I fear the people might demand an inquest'. This sketch was originally inserted into the presentation copy of 'The Reign of Terror' (a published collection of Shemus cartoons) which was sent by 'The Freeman's Journal' to Arthur Griffith in January 1922.
