Tá deireadh le ráiméis"] and an article detailing the history of the Dáíl entitled 'Bua Sinn Féin agus bunú na chéad Dála'. Costs 20 p. Entertainment is provided by Éamonn Keane, Lena Bean Uí Shé, The Dublin City Ramblers, Gerry Crilly, Áine Ní Dhúill, Caroline Bailey, Brendan O'Duill and the Fenian Players. Events include: uilleann pipes, the Chairman's Address [Dáithi O'Conaill], Pagent of the Flags, a march in and accolade to the national flag, the flags of the four Provinces and the flags of the revolution, followed by a lecture by Éamonn Mac Thomáis on 'The Irish Nation'. After an interval, there will be music by the Druids including traditional music and ballads, salute to the first Dáil, a reading of the Re-declaration of the Republic, a message to the Free Nations, an outline of the democratic programmes and extracts from speeches followed by an address by Ruairi O'Bradaigh. |
