| Summary: | Programme for an Easter Rising 1916 commemoration concert, under the auspices of The Seumas Rafter Old I.R.A. Club, on March 25th 1940 at The Athenaeum, Enniscorthy. Front and back pages are printed on green paper, the inside pages are on white paper. The programme features images of Seumas Rafter, Padraic Pearse (with a written passage on Robert Emmet), Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa (with a reproduction of the oration delivered by Padraic Pearse at Rossa's graveside), an illustration of Frongoch Internment Camp and an illustration of 'an Irish Volunteer of 1916.' Participants in the concert are listed and advertisements for several businesses in Enmniscorthy and the surrounding vicinity are advertised throughout. |
