Summary:Pankhurst remarks to Hannah Sheehy-Skeffington that similarly in London they are "having a great struggle to keep the "Dreadhought [Dreadnought] going and [the word "to" has been added in afterwards in ink] finance our Suffrage work, though our circulation is growing and we expect to keep our heads above water". She adds "We very much fear that conscription is to be introduced, and we dread it as a menace to the Women's movement and everything that makes for freedom.
