Summary: | Refers to extracts from the first manifesto of the Irish Volunteers, promulgated at the Rotunda Meeting, 25 November 1913 with a further assertion that the Volunteers have prevented conscription being introduced into Ireland. At foot of sheet: "Don't applaud the Volunteers if you won't join them. The future of your country depends on your action now. Seek out the nearest company and take your stand with those whose work is for Ireland in Ireland, a Dhia Saor Éire". On verso is an image with the caption 'Relics found at the General Post Office Dublin after the bombardment' - photograph shows a belt buckle with words Oglaigh na hÉireann, two swords and a bullet. |
