Summary: | Depicts a scarecrow in a field; a rolled up document, entitled "Document No.2" sticks out from its' coat pocket. A crown has been placed on top of the bonnet rouge with cockade [liberty cap or Phrygian cap] that is at the top of the branch that is the scarecrow's 'head'. On 10 January 1922, Éamon de Valera published his second redraft, known generally as Document No. 2. - 'Proposed Treaty of Association between Ireland and the British Commonwealth presented by Éamon de Valera to Dail Eireann'. |
