Notes: | Shemus was a pseudonym used by Ernest Forbes. Caption reads: Sir James to "Extensive Deputation": Now, Gentlemen, you know what to do. Impress on the English people that loyal Ulster must be protected. You will find that they have forgotten the Covenant long ago. And be sure you tell them how careful we are to protect minority rights. There hasn't been a Catholic killed for days and days.
