Caption reads: Fritz: "It grows bromising. In Silesia arms they vill vant." Hans: "Ja! and maybe... if ve sent der agent to Larne... Vunst ve had friendts."

A newspaper clipping is glued to the front of the page. It reads: There is no need to be told that in enemy countries the mood is one of malicious exultation. The Allies, Berlin remarks with a chuckle, are holding a plebiscite - in Upper Silesia. Six young men were hanged in Dublin the other day.
