Summary:Illustration depicts Hamar Greenwood speaking to a group of journalists. They are standing outside a prison, with a barred window; a soldier guards the entrance [an iron door]. Title, date and caption written in pencil on verso. Caption reads: Hamar: "And in conclusion, gentlemen, I again assert that Ireland is the safest country in the world for journalists. To prove it follow me through the door which yon soldier is guarding. There I will show you journalists who are perfectly safe" [i.e. in prison].
