Summary:The Promenade, stretching over a mile in length, has been the most popular feature of interest to both locals and tourists since it was built between 1885-1890. During the summer months its amusement arcades and singing pubs attract great numbers and all kinds of festivities are held there during the annual Bray Seaside Festival. The rather obtrusive building in the centre is the recently opened National Aquarium.
