| Summary: | Cornelius McMahon has been working for Armagh District Council for 14 years, keeping the streets , alleys and housing estates of Keady clean and tidy. On a rota basis, he covers three to four miles of street each day, collecting 3 to 3 and a half cwt. of litter and brushings. On Sunday morning he helps on the mechanical sweeper from 6am to 10am cleaning away the 'carry out' litter prior to the churchgoers emerging for Sunday services. He believes more litter education is required as the problem seems to be worsening. |
