Summary:Castle Coole Enniskillen. James Wyett's masterpiece ws built in 1789-96 for the first Earl of Belmore. Renovated extensively in recent years. this well-known neo-classical structure, with its gleaming Portland stone, now shines out with a new brilliance, as it did when Thackery saw it. The property is now owned by the National Trust.
