Summary: | Frame 27:Class of third level students working in the Information Technology Area of Newtownabbey, Co Antrim. This has been the most rapidly expanding area of education in the Eighties.Frame 28: Secondary school class in Ballyclare working in business studies. Note the typewriters which have largely been replaced by Apple Computers for Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Database record keeping. Frame 29 : Factory like workshop and design area in Ballyclare Secondary School.This just completed extension marks the move in industry style training and is a long way from the woodwork and metalwork which once would have been on the curriculum. |
