Summary: | The Sisters of Mercy came to Moate in 1860, and, after having lived in a nearby house, they erected this building adjoining the Main Street. It has been their home ever since, but now, it has beeb declared unsafe by the relevant authorities. At present it is for sale and will, most likely , be demolished. |
