Summary:This bridge was built in1767 by a stone mason called Nolan from Rathvarrin. The granite stone from which it is built was mined in Ardattin just outside Tullow. This bridge has four arches. It is reputed to have succeeded a smaller cruder Norman structure that once stood here.
