Notes:In our catalogue, this photo was originally titled "Two storey house, with front patio, in an unknown location". Research by our Flickr Commons users established that this was the Church Bay Hotel just south of Weaver's Point in Templebreedy parish, near Crosshaven in Co. Cork. Built around 1898, the hotel was owned by Mrs Mary Jane Dobson from 1901 until at least the mid-1910s - from which time this image almost certainly dates. The building still stands, though now seemingly converted to apartments.
