BECAUSE YOU will not use the brains God gave you! / One moments thought will convince you that every penny spent on British goods means a / penny less in Ireland./ How many pennies a day do you send out of Ireland? / Every British newspaper you buy, and many of you buy none else - Every British made / sweet, cigarette, boot, hat, suit of clothes leave hundreds of Irishmen starving. / Take one small item: - / SWEETS / If you bought only (in bold) Irish made sweets and chocolates you would provide work for at least / 3,200 people. / You who would not willingly allow one little child to starve are actually starving thousands. / Just think: - £260, 000 worth of sweets are imported each year. / £330, 000 worth of chocolates are imported each year. / At least eat Irish sweets and keep 3,200 of your fellow countrymen from starving. / 1 Send no more pennies out of Ireland. / 2 Buy only Irish made sweets.
