Undated letters from poet and nationalist Alice Milligan to actress Máire Nic Shiubhlaigh, concerning her writing scripts for radio broadcast(to be read by Nic Shiubhlaigh) and her working on a poem about Elizabeth Yeats. She also writes of the retrictions in her social and political life, due to the illness of her sister-in-law and her family's opposition to her nationalism. Included are fragment letters from Milligan to Radio Éireann regarding the broadcasts, with Radio Éireann stamps, dated Jan. 1939 and Jan. 1940.
