Lady Louisa and Alice Howard, writing for the most part from Mount Street, [London], refer to the family visits and social engagements, including an event hosted by Lady Aberdeen which was thought to have political overtones and a visit from their sister in law Fanny Howard and nephew Ralph (b. 1877).
