| Summary: | Written on embossed paper headed 'Castlereagh, 34 Cleveland Road, Ealing W.' The letters are dated respectively 30th October and 25th November 1925 and the second is addressed 'Dear Mr. Joyce' (most likely William B. Joyce). Crone refers to Joyce's search for back numbers of 'The Irish Book Lover'. He mentions Joyce's uncle P.W., who he describes as one of his 'literary idols', and makes reference to his correspondent's son, who is working in Islington (possibly as a doctor). |
