| Summary: | Material relating to Niall Montgomery's essay on 'Finnegans Wake' entitled 'The Pervigilium Phoenicis'. The first four folders contain a typescript, photocopies and a spiral bound copy of the article which appeared in the Winter 1953 issue of the 'New Mexico Quarterly'. The next four folders consist of a large amount of correspondence with the 'New Mexico Quarterly' between 1953 and 1962, as well as James Johnson Sweeney, Patricia Greacen née Hutchins, Clive Hart, Jack Dalton, Willis E. McNelly and Father de Rocquois of École D’été de Dublin who reprinted the article in 1962. |
