Notes: | Gerald O'Connor of Loughglynn, Co Roscommon, served as 1st Battalion Commandant and later as No 2 Brigade Commandant in the 2nd Western Division. After leaving military service he became a teacher in Meelick National School. He was elected Fianna Fáil representative for the Roscommon County Council 1934-1942 and died in 1972.
