Vere Sidney Tudor Harmsworth (25 September 1895 – 13 November 1916), killed in action during the first day of the Battle of the Ancre, aged 21, while serving with the Hawke Bn. 63rd (Royal Naval) Division, Royal Naval Reserve. He is buried in the Ancre British Cemetery at Beaumont-Hamel on the Somme.
