Letter from Field Marshal Sir Edward Blakeney (1778-1868), [who served as Commander-In-Chief in Ireland from 1836 to 1855] concerning the death of Guy Colin Campbell. Campbell had gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy and died aged 28 on 23 April 1853 in Singapore.
