Letter from Sir Richard Airey, a senior British Army officer (who served as Military Secretary to the commander-in-chief, Lord Hardinge from 1852 to 1854) concerning the death of Guy Colin Campbell. Campbell had gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy and died aged 28 on 23 April 1853 in Singapore.
