The majority of the watercolours pasted into this album [of brown paper sheets] are dated with the title inscribed in black ink underneath the image of the scene - one (entitled 'Cottage at Middletown - Co. Donegal') is dated August 1918; the rest are dated July and August 1919 and are topographical views of Hilltown, Co. Down and views of Middletown Bog, Carrickfinn Island, Derrybeg Sands and Stranabrooney, all in Co. Donegal.
