Language procession - one of the tableaux - "The Lead of the Leader" (from a "rough" sketch by A. Hooligan). Márta. 27ad.1905.
[graphic].
Black and white illustration featuring at centre of image a surly looking man, [D.P. Moran?] who wears a top hat, suit and tie and overcoat and who stands upright in a moving carriage and leaning forward with his walking stick, jabs the carriage driver (who turns back to look at him) in the back with it. Either side of the carriage, men who carry hurling sticks over their shoulder march in the procession while crowds of supporters smile and cheer; two placards can be seen - the one in the right background reads "No Surrender / To / The / C.P.O".
