Description:	The file includes: proofs with annotations by John Montague of ‘Old-Fashioned Pilgrimage’, ‘The Paper Curtain’, ‘The Pill’, and ‘Later Poems’ among others by Austin Clarke, 1961 – 1967. Also enclosed is ‘A Tribute to Austin Clarke on his Seventieth Birthday’ compiled by John Montague and Liam Miller, 1966. It is accompanied by handwritten and typescript notes relating to the book and an associated lecture given by Montague on Clarke. Finally there are assorted press cuttings collected by Montague surrounding the work of Austin Clarke, 1958-1968.
