Provenance:Originally owned by Michael William O'Reilly, an insurance clerk from Stillorgan, Co Dublin, who joined the IRB in 1911 and the Irish Volunteers in 1913. He served with the GPO garrison during the Easter Rising in 1916 and was aide-de-camp to Proclamation signatory Joseph Plunkett.
