Letters to George Wolfe of Forenaughts, Co. Kildare from R. Wolfe, largely concerning family and political matters. Wolfe writes of his views on Irish politics, notably that the Irish are unsuited for self government, that ‘inferior’ men would be elected to an Irish parliament and his opposition to any form of Home Rule in which the Anglo-Irish did not form the majority of MP's (10 Sept 1895). He also refers to his concerns on the future of the Wolfe family in Ireland, notably his fears that the line my die out.
