Kildare (20 Sept. 1796), Thomas Pelham, Chief Secretary of Ireland, concerning Wolfe's appointment as Commander of the Militia (31 May 1797), Edward Hendrick of Kerdiffstown, referring to a promotion in the regiment (Nov.-Dec. 1799), Major. J. Aylmer, concerning his plans to resign (1 Jan. 1801), Erasmus D. Burrowes, requesting a posting for his son in the Militia (27 Nov. 1812) and from the then Chief Secretary of Ireland Sir Robert Peel, concerning a claim made by Lieut. Ryder regarding his rank and seniority within the Militia (8 Nov. 1815); Peel's letter includes related documentation. Also included is a letter from Wolfe to J. Bathurst of Bridewell, Co. Kildare, concerning a possible promotion (4 Feb. 1802).
