Papers relating to the pension and finances of Arthur Wolfe, Viscount Kilwarden, dating from the period immediately after his death. Included are letters to his cousin Col. John Wolfe of Forenaughts, Co. Kildare from William Downes, Lord Chief Justice of Ireland and Robert French (who were both Kilwarden's executors), a copy letter from Col. Wolfe to John Foster, related correspondence between Col. Wolfe and Kilwarden's son and heir John Wolfe, 2nd Viscount Kilwarden, and letters from Alexander Marsden, Under-Secretary for Ireland, and John Freeman-Mitford, 1st Baron Redesdale. Also included are attached accounts and lists of the assets of Kilwarden's family, with particular reference to rents due on their estate in Newlands, Co. Kildare.
