Those writing to Wolfe refer to the registration of freeholders at the assizes, difficulties in getting Catholic tenants to take the oath (Griffith, 21 Sept. 1801), the political influence landlords have over their tenants and concerns about voting for Wolfe and against the Duke of Leinster's preferred canditate.

Also included is copy of Wolfe's letter to a Mr. Disney, concerning the registration of freeholders in Naas (15 July 1801) and a draft letter, addressed to the electorate of Kildare, from Wolfe concerning his intention of contesting the election (8 Dec. 1801).
