Includes letters to Wolfe from John Cassidy of Monasterevin, Willam Armit, Richard Dowdall of Portarlington, Walter Dowdall of Clane, Richard Griffith, John Dalyell, of Dalyell Lodge, Fifeshire, Lord Mayo, Lord de Vesci, Anthony Weldon of Athy, Richard Nevill of Furness, Francis Synge, John Hussey Burgh of Donore House, Richard Archbold, James Langrishe, Robert La Touche of Harristown, Lord Robert Stephen Fitzgerald, Henry, Viscount Harberton, Robert Drought of Plunketstown, Wolfe's son John and his cousin Arthur, Lord Kilwarden. Those writing to Wolfe refer to the registration of freeholders at the assizes, difficulties in getting Catholic tenants to take the oath (Griffith, 21 Sept. 1801), the political influence landlords have over their tenants and concerns about voting for Wolfe and against the Duke of Leinster's preferred canditate.
