Mr. Barrett writes that a Mr Sheridan, a boarder, who was staying with him, left Barrett's house on the evening of Easter Sunday and took part in the Easter Rising. Since then the police have been watching his house and his boarders have left, and he has been unable to find new boarders. Letter addressed from "23 Gratton St. / Maryboro, Queen's Co. [Portlaoise, County Laois]".
