O'Sullivan-Beare also thanks Casement for sending him the 'Ulster Journal of Archaeology' which held an article concerning the unveiling of a portrait of his ancestor in Cork. O'Sullive-Beare also states on the independence of Ireland as a whole; "All that is needed is united and unanimous action: the bar to which appeaars to be that unworthy difference upon matters religious which serparates Ulster from the rest of Ireland.".
