Papers relating to Éamonn Duggan's involvement with the Irish Volunteers and the Easter Rising, containing for the most part correspondence between Duggan and his fiancée, later wife, May Duggan (née Kavanagh) written during the course of the Rising (Duggan fought at the North Dublin Union and Fr. Mathew Hall), their subsequent communications during his detention in Mountjoy, Portland and Lewes prisons and his letters to her, written from Co. Meath following his release from prison. Also included are ephemeral items relating to the Rising and drafts of his radio talk on his role in the 1916 Rising, broadcast on Stáisiún Foirleatha in April 1936.
