Title inscribed on note attached to verso continues "Forty Thousand persons crowded the Polo Grounds, N.Y.C. today for the memorial services for the late Lord Mayor MacSwiney of Cork. Many prominent State and City officials and memers of Irish-American organizations took part. The photo shows, starting second from left :- Judge Otto Rosalsky, Governor Alfred E. Smith and Eamonn DeValera, President of the "Irish Republic" leading the parade around the field. Women, dressed in mourning and carrying placards marched in the parade".
