Copy typescript letter from William O'Brien to the Editor of the Irish Times regarding James Plunkett Kelly's reply letter to the editor and his "ignorance" of the history of the labour movement in Ireland, and also correcting statements made in said letter and providing further details relating to that time in Ireland,

1956 Mar. 24.

O'Brien also refers to the "Labour Correspondent" from his previous letter and also writes of Plunkett Kelly's reasons of writing the letter "Not because he has any special knowledge of the matter discussed, because his ignorance of them is only too manifest. No doubt that is more his misfortune that his fault. We are all ignorant of one or more subjects. If Mr. Kelly is ignorant of only one, that surely is the history of the labour movement in Ireland during the last fifty years.".
