O'Brien describes the articles as "an astonishing contribution, full of inaccurate and misleading statements, a good number of which were satisfactorily dealt with thirty odd years ago. The writes obviously has a strong bias in favour of the late James Larkin and against the Irish Transport and Gerneral Workers' Union.".
