Copy of letter from Bishop Edward Thomas O'Dwyer, Corbally, Limerick, to Niam Ni Pluingceid [Niamh Plunkett] of Cumann na mBan apologising that he cannot attend a meeting at the Manions House and discussing the treatment of soliders from the Easter Rising as prisoners of war, and the "secret Court Martial" and sentence of penal servitude.
A Mass meeting was held at the Mansion House on 21st May 1917 to demand treatment as prisoners of war for Countess Markievicz in Aylesbury Prison and more Easter Rising prisoners in Lewes Prisons.
